GARDEN is a personal clothing brand that I founded in 2020. Each piece is handmade using deadstock fabric. Deadstock referring to a roll of fabric that would have otherwise been thrown in a landfill. Therefore, each piece is 100% sustainably made, using repurposed fabric, as well as ethically made, ensuring all garments are made locally in Los Angeles. I learned how to sew while studying abroad in Italy in 2019 and have been expressing myself through this creative outlet ever since. As a small business owner, I’ve learned a lot about marketing, content creation, and creative direction. I really enjoy bringing talented groups of people together to create! All of my content is branded through the lens of my graphic design background. I run my Instagram page and website, which you can find by clicking the “apparel” tab in the menu bar.

March 22, 2025 - Obscure Allure : A Fashion Show for the Nonconformist.

Here are a few of my personal clothing designs from the show :

I hosted the fashion show in collaboration with Edgy Chic. We each created a collection of 10 personal looks and 5 collab looks that would be featured in the show. I created the flyers for the event, including the hand drawn chrome logo. I also created the chrome logos to match the finish of the title.

I half toned the chrome title and created a screen to print on hoodies and various collateral for the event. We sold hoodies, tees and tote bags at the show.

We hosted a casting call to scout models for the fashion show. Due to the fires in La back in January, we had to postpone the casting call and fashion show. I created some graphics to help provide resources for those that were affected during this time.

In order to raise funds for the event, we hosted a “Christmas Fashion Show Fundraiser.” I created the flyers for the fundraiser , including the chrome title and chrome logos to match the title. The flyers were intended to raise awareness and detail exactly where the funds would go. Were were able to raise $1000! We spent half on creating care packages for the unhoused individuals on skid row, and we used the other half to book the space for the show.

I’ve been working on this style of custom chrome font for the past couple of years. I hand draw the abstract font, place it into Adobe Photoshop to create a 3D object, and then place the design into Adobe Dimension. Here, I play with the materials and shadows to make the custom font look chrome and like it has depth. Above are a few outtakes of flyers that I was working on while we were still sorting through the official name of the fashion show.

Below are my official hang tags for my brand. I used my custom chrome font to create the chrome “Garden” logo that appears on the front, and the custom 4 pointed flower logo that appears on the back. You’ll see this style of font throughout my work.
